StoreB AI ("StoreB", "we", "us") is a platform that allows independent businesses, retailers, creators and merchants ("Merchants") to create and operate their own online storefronts. Customers ("Customers") buy products or services from these Merchants through their StoreB storefronts. StoreB provides the technology platform and is not itself the seller of every product or service listed by Merchants. Unless StoreB expressly sells a product directly, the contract of sale is between the Customer and the Merchant, and the Merchant is responsible for the legality, quality, pricing, fulfilment, taxation and customer service for what they sell.
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using StoreB AI, our website, mobile apps, storefronts or any related service, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform. These Terms apply to Merchants, Customers and visitors alike.
2. StoreB account creation
To create a store or place orders you may need an account. You agree to provide accurate, current and complete information during registration and to keep it updated. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Merchant responsibilities
Merchants are responsible for the legality, accuracy, quality, pricing, availability, taxation, fulfilment, shipping and customer service of all products and services they list. Merchants must comply with all applicable Indian laws, including consumer protection, taxation and product-safety laws, and with the terms of any payment gateway, courier or advertising platform they use. StoreB may, but is not obliged to, review or remove listings that violate these Terms.
4. Customer responsibilities
Customers agree to provide accurate contact and delivery information, to pay for orders they place, and to follow each Merchant's published policies. Customers must not misuse the platform, submit false orders, abuse returns, or engage in fraud.
5. Product listing rules
Merchants must list products under correct categories, with accurate descriptions, images, pricing and availability. Listings must not be misleading, deceptive, or infringe any third-party rights. StoreB may remove or hide listings that violate these Terms or applicable law.
6. Prohibited products and activities
Merchants must not list or sell prohibited, restricted or illegal products, including but not limited to counterfeit goods, weapons, explosives, illegal drugs, prescription drugs without lawful authorisation, live animals, protected wildlife products, adulterated or unsafe food, tobacco/nicotine products in violation of law, gambling services, or any item prohibited under Indian law. A configurable prohibited-products list is maintained by the administrator and may be updated from time to time.
7. Pricing and taxes
Merchants are responsible for setting their prices and for collecting, remitting and disclosing all applicable taxes, including GST, in accordance with Indian law. Prices displayed on a storefront are charged by the Merchant (and the payment gateway on the Merchant's behalf), not by StoreB, unless StoreB is itself the seller.
8. Orders
An order placed by a Customer is an offer to the Merchant to buy the listed products or services. The contract of sale is formed when the Merchant accepts and confirms the order. StoreB facilitates order placement but is not a party to the contract between the Customer and the Merchant unless it is itself the seller.
9. Payments — online
Online payments are processed by third-party payment gateway providers engaged by StoreB or the Merchant. Payment processing is subject to the applicable gateway's terms, merchant verification and KYC requirements, settlement rules, fees and compliance. StoreB does not store full card numbers, CVV or UPI PINs. Payment status is verified through the gateway; an order is not treated as paid until the gateway confirms payment.
10. Payments — Cash on Delivery (COD)
Where a Merchant enables COD, Customers pay in cash at the time of delivery. COD availability depends on the Merchant, the product and the delivery location. COD orders may be refused for incorrect address, out-of-service-area delivery, or suspicious activity.
11. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds, returns and cancellations are governed by the applicable Merchant's published Refund & Cancellation Policy and applicable Indian law. StoreB's Refund & Cancellation Policy describes the general framework. Refunds for online payments are processed back to the original payment method and may take time depending on the payment gateway and the Customer's bank.
12. Shipping and delivery
Delivery is handled by the Merchant and/or courier partners engaged by the Merchant. Delivery timelines depend on the Merchant, courier, destination, product availability and external circumstances. See our Shipping & Delivery Policy for details.
13. Merchant-generated content
Merchants are solely responsible for all content they publish, including product names, descriptions, images, pricing and claims. StoreB does not endorse and is not responsible for the accuracy of Merchant content. Merchants grant StoreB a limited licence to display their content on the platform for the purpose of operating their storefront.
14. Intellectual property
StoreB, the StoreB name, logo and platform software are owned by StoreB AI. Merchants retain ownership of their content but grant StoreB a licence to host and display it. You must not copy, scrape, or misuse StoreB's intellectual property. If you believe any content infringes your rights, contact us with details.
15. StoreB platform licence
StoreB grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for its intended purpose. You must not reverse engineer, misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or its systems.
16. Account suspension / termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, applicable law, or the policies of payment, courier or advertising providers. Merchants and Customers may close their accounts by contacting us, subject to fulfilment of any pending obligations.
17. Fraud and misuse
Fraud, fake orders, fake reviews, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, identity misuse and any attempt to game the platform are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension and legal action.
18. Third-party services
The platform integrates with third-party services such as payment gateways, courier/shipping providers, advertising platforms and communication tools. These services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. StoreB is not responsible for their acts or omissions.
19. Payment gateway providers
Payment gateways are independent service providers. Approval of a Merchant by a payment gateway, settlement of funds, chargebacks and refund processing are governed by the gateway's terms. StoreB does not guarantee approval by any payment gateway.
20. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, StoreB is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the platform. StoreB is not liable for the acts or omissions of Merchants, Customers, payment gateways or courier providers. Our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, for the service giving rise to the claim.
21. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold StoreB harmless from claims, damages and expenses arising from your content, your use of the platform, your violation of these Terms or applicable law, or your violation of third-party rights.
22. Dispute resolution
We encourage resolving disputes amicably. Disputes shall first be raised through our grievance process. Unresolved disputes shall be subject to the applicable dispute resolution mechanism under Indian law, including consumer dispute redressal where applicable.
23. Governing law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Subject to mandatory consumer protections, courts in India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.
24. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date reflects the latest version. Continued use of StoreB after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
